- As the name states, Casa del Agua is a residence in Guadalajara Mexico, where water becomes the main performer of the house. The main intention of the house is to create multiple stimulating spaces where the transition from space to space through the house becomes a journey of continuous discovery. The house is located on a large lot where water flows from start to end, beginning with a water pond flanking the main entrance and finishing with a large pool towards the backyard. Along the way, fountains and ponds frame each space as you advance from one room to the next. In order to articulate the entire house, a game of solid volumes was proposed as each element acquires a unique expression of the space within it. Natural elements such as vegetation are used as well to complement the water spaces inside, generating a gentle environment in the interior spaces.
