- This 2-story penthouse boasts strong Tulum Vibes, bringing together neutral colors, custom Tzalam wood pieces, and elements that reflect the jungle for a natural indoor/outdoor living. Throughout the spaces, you can feel a minimalist ambience where everything has a purpose. The Chukum walls provide natural heat insulation, the hand-made macrame provides sound insulation, and big mirrors provide a feeling of calmness and openness, in addition to reflecting in more of the jungle. Black accents, including lamps and decor, add the perfect industrial touch to this otherwise minimalist boho space. In order to include some originality and fun, we added a textured ceiling over the dining area using natural fiber rugs made from dried palm, a hammock on the terrace with the jungle view and turquoise pillows on the rooftop that are reminiscent of the Caribbean waters. Natural stain-resistant and easy to clean materials make short-term stays at this property convenient and all the more relaxing.
